A special thank you to the lady on duty Fri the 30th May When I needed to see a doctor. The lady in question went to a lot of trouble to find a doctor who would see me. As a result it made my stay a lot more comfortable. I can not thank her enough. Please pass on my thanks. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. If I have to criticise anything it would be the fact that there was absolutely no info on anything in the room....no breakfast times, no "do not disturb" sign for door. None the less we will be back and I must say a big thank you for giving us a lovely big bedroom with jacuzzi bath. It was a great weekend for us.

We got a great deal by booking direct through their website. 2 nights with full breakfast + 3 course dinner on one night of your choice. Good service by all the staff, reception, dining room, bar etc.. The room was clean & comfortable. Great position as we were there to visit Howth & Malahide. Bus service to these & the airport stopped very close. Even though we stayed early in the week the hotel seemed busy, with a selection of guests; golfers, business men, holidaymakers.

Overall it was a good stop close to the airport as a last night to get organized to go home. The pub is probably the best part of the hotel with good food and great service. The hotel check in staff was okay but wasn't overly friendly or helpful. It's comparable to a motel 6 or an older holiday inn.

Excellent hotel.

I only stayed one night at your hotel. I experienced no problems from check in to check out. The staff were really friendly both in reception and the house keeping staff. The room was comfy, clean and had the all-important kettle for morning coffee!! I normally stay at the Grand in Malahide, although it’s a higher star rating than you I think it is the more inferior establishment as it’s dated and staff are just not as helpful. I hope to be staying with you again in the near future.

A super little hotel right beside one of the best beaches in Ireland. The staff are very warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful and help to make the stay very enjoyable.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here on Valentine's night. Couldn't believe what a fabulous room we got for such a great price. The room had a sea view, the bed was really comfortable, there was lots of wardrobe space and the en suite had a bath. We got breakfast brought to our room the next morning, and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful too. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a christening at the hotel and everything went great. A group of us stayed the night and it was very nice. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good selection of food. Lounge staff very accommodating to family group after the christening and also the next day. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Quaint and quiet. Much better than a large hotel and just what I was looking for. The Oasis was a wonderful place to eat and spend evenings and the location of the White Sands is beautiful. I have already booked a return trip for next month.

I arrived at the white Sands Hotel on the 11th of September to Celebrate my three year anniversary.On arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to a suite and I had mentioned to the girl at the reception it was our anniversary, she arrived at our room with a bottle of white wine to mark the occasion. I cannot commend the staff enough for their warm welcome and hospitality throughout our short stay. We had a meal in the bar/ restaurant and again received a warm and inviting reception from the girl serving us our meal. The food was very good and reasonably priced, and we were served promptly in a friendly and efficient manner. I am embarrassed that I have forgotten the names of the staff who made our stay so special,but I would like to thank them for their hospitality and excellent customer service.From the time we arrived until our departure all of the staff we encountered added to the experience of our stay.As I was leaving the girls cleaning the rooms asked if I was going and said " I hope you enjoyed your stay" I thanked them and left with the best impressions of your hotel and all of your helpful staff. My partner and I had an enjoyable stay at the Hotel. First time stay at the Hotel right on the beach. Location was fine 25 mins walk to Malahide and about 10 miiles from Dublin. Breakfast and room was fine. Could not complain. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The receptionist has been amazing on our recent visits she is a total asset to your hotel. So warm and helpful. We would not hesitate in staying here again. As I have moved over to Dublin 4 she even told me arnotts was the best place to get a duvet and she is right !

This was my third visit to the White Sands this year so that says a lot about the Hotel and I am booked again at the end of June !! Hotel is spotless and the reception staff extremely helpful. Value for money is a big factor and the hotel does great deals. Rooms are excellent especially the bottom sea view one we go last time, this has spoiled us as we wpuld like that room all the time !! Food was excellent, bar staff attentive and the situation overlooking the sea beautiful. Finally was delighted the hotel provided two lovely sunny days and hope it can do the same on our next visit !!! Peter and Donna Craigavon

Great hotel, fantastic location and real value for money. Free WiFi at reception area. Great breakfast and only 1/2 hour walk to Malahide. I was working in Dublin and it only took 40 minutes to get there (you need to use the M50 or it takes ages! Would recommend it without doubt.

Would only be too happy to fill out this form!Feel free to use this review for any purpose.Love love staying here as I am not from Dublin,but in March and April had to stay in Dublin as I had medical appointments in the city and have found the location to be ideal.Buses leave fequently into city centre,from bus stop only outside this hotel. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise people not to book a city centre hotel as Potmarnock is beautiful. Have found room on all 3 occasions I was here very bright,spacious and extremely comfortable.Also bathroom was very big,bright also which is great.Love the spectacular view and the fact there is free Wifi,hair dryer supplied etc.I finally got round to writing a review on Trip Advisor (under name kljs).Mostly what I have enjoyed about my stays at your hotel is the fact that it has been very relaxing.Also superb value for money.It's truly beautiful though when it is sunny,as you can walk the prom and go to the beach,right across the road!It was sunny here the first two times I was here-end of March and early April and it was fabulous! I will be coming back again the last week in May and will definitely be back again after that sometime in the near future. Thank you for making my stay very enjoyable. Best Wishes, Karen.

Hi, We have stayed a number of times in your hotel and I love going back to it . I love the location and the new wing where the bedrooms are is great . The bar area is probably a little out-of-date - but you are doing very well to stay open in the current economic climate. I wish you continued success . My dad and I couldn't have enjoyed our stay at the White Sands Hotel Portmarnock more! From the cleanliness of the room, the beauty of the surrounding area and the hospitality of the staff each aspect of our stay was wonderful. The receptionists made my dad and I feel at home, and they were very helpful/understanding of our questions as we were trying to navigate in a new country!

Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful Only down side was that the carpet in the restaurant/brekfast room was badly stained and dirty looking. it did not spoil my stay. If I am in the area again I would stay- I have already recommended to friends and family
